What Will I See?

There are 33 different species of dolphins world wide, with many living in the waters around Australia. The most common species being the Bottlenose dolphin, we often though, only see the common short and long beaked dolphins and their calves frolic in the warm waters on our cruise.

These short or long beaked common dolphins are in abundance during the warmer months from November to June and can be regularly seen along the coastlines off the Sunshine Coast.

Often regarded as one of the earth’s most intelligent animals. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to see dolphins up close and personal and other marine life such as Green Sea Turtles local inhabitants around Mudjimba “Old Woman” Island, rays, sharks & the odd flying fish. Then stop a moment for a special delight and feed the pelicans on our journey home.

Will I Get Sea Sick?

Some people never get sea sick, the lucky ones but for others BE PREPARED. Visit your chemist for appropriate medication or remedies. We advise you to take something if you are unsure – don’t let sea sickness spoil your day! It is primarily a calm water cruise however in searching for dolphins you may experience some unsettled sea conditions.

Are We Allowed to swim during the cruise?

ABSOLUTELY NOT – but we have custom build viewing decks for the best views. We must stand off 50 meters from the adults & up 150 meters from the cows & their young but they can come right up to the boat if they want – and they often do!

What If My Trip Is Cancelled?

We will endeavour to get all trips out but sometimes weather prevents the trip from going ahead and for safety reasons the cruise will be cancelled. The skipper of the boat has the final say and if the trip is cancelled you will be transferred to the next available day.
We endeavour to make a decision by 7am each morning, we will contact you if the trip is cancelled by 7:30am.
