While Friday the 13th may prove unlucky for some, it wasn’t for our passengers on board our Whale Watching and Dolphin Discovery Cruises today!
The seas were nice and calm and we got to hang out with half a dozen bottlenose dolphins including a couple of calves this afternoon! They came right up to the boat and everyone had a great time.
We also came across and rescued a sick turtle who has presumably eaten too much plastic 🙁
He will be taken to Underwater World Sea Life Mooloolaba for treatment.
An environmentally friendly reminder to dispose of all rubbish thoughtfully and to recycle and re-use when you can!
On our way back to the wharf 2 more dolphins were spotted in the canal, near the maritime police station.
