Whilst boarding Whale One at Mooloolaba Wharf, guests are greeted by our friendly, professional staff who are there to make your event a memorable one.
Where does it take you?

We can tailor your cruise to suit your requirements, Whale One can be hired out for a minimum of 2 hours to cruise the canals. Whale One is fully licensed, so we don’t allow you to bring your own alcohol onboard, but you can enjoy our fully licensed bar offering a wide variety of local and imported wine and beers plus a large selection of spirits and cocktails.

On your Private Charter Whale One will be Cruising the Mooloolaba Canals in calm waters, passing by some of the Sunshine Coast’s finest, multi-million dollar mansions with spectacular views. If weather permits we can cruise out of the canals and along the Sunshine Coasts famous beaches whilst taking in the breathtaking views of Mooloolaba and the Glasshouse Mountains.

Cruises can also be tailored to include a trip around the majestic Old Woman Island. Home to many species of fish, Green Sea Turtles, dolphins and sea birds; a trip to Old Woman will certainly add to the excitement to your corporate event.

Please note: Cruise destinations are subject to weather conditions to allow for maximum passenger comfort and safety. If we are unable to go out into the open ocean, the cruise will take place in the canals.

Entertaining Options

The open plan interior allows for easy mingling and features plush, comfortable lounges with a fresh, modern interior. Whale One has a licensed bar on the lower deck with a spacious dining area on the upper and lower decks.

Whale One is licensed to carry upto 115 passengers – for cocktail events or 80 passengers for full sit down dining. The lower deck boast an air conditioned cabin area that can seat comfortably 30 people, the bar is situated within this cabin area. The upper deck also boasts an air conditioned cabin area that will seat comfortably 10 people – this cabin can be privately hired. The top rear covered deck will seat comfortably 40 people. Plus plenty of seating right around the boat.

Food and Beverage

Our talented chef has prepared a range of menus and can also design menus to suit your culinary and budget requirements. Whale One operates a fully licensed bar onboard. Special beverage orders can be arranged with at least one week’s prior notice to an event. Our chefs can organise menus to suit the most discerning tastes or special events.

LCD Screens

Whale One is equipped with 6 LCD screens which are available for use during presentations. Equipment is available to connect your own laptop to play through all screens or alternatively guests can arrange to utilise the laptop onboard Whale One. A DVD player is also available.

Music and Entertainment

Whale One is equipped with a multifunction DVD / CD player which has the ability to be connected to computers, iPod and MP3 players, and is available for use during the event. Guests are welcome to bring their own music or computer presentations onboard Whale One. Contact us beforehand for more details.

If required we can suggest a number of live musical performers, DJ’s, comedians and jukeboxes which can be arranged for an additional fee.

Due to licensing restrictions, all music can create sound of no more than talking level within 1.5km of shore. Music can be played with no restrictions outside of 1.5km of shore. We reserve the right to control the sound levels of any music played onboard Whale One.

Our professional decorators are happy to coordinate a package tailored to your requirements for an additional fee. Prices will be quoted upon consultation.
