Saturday 29th October Whale Report –

Point Cartwright was the place to be this morning.  Our guests were delighted by a mother and her calf playing with a bottlenose dolphin.  The calf rolled over a few times on the surface showing off his belly.  The dolphin tried to encourage the calf by demonstrating his jumping skills and we were rewarded with a full breach from the baby whale.  The mother displayed her unique tail print with a perfect fluke up dive.  A second mother and calf were breaching and playing a mile south of Point Cartwright.  On our return trip we were lucky enough to be surrounded by a pod of 15 common long beak dolphins jumping and frolicking in the calm water.

You can now book to go Whale Watching with our super end of season special for $59 adult and $39 children (up to 14) on Whale One.  Call our booking office on 1300WHALE1 (1300942531) and book a trip to see these gentle giants as they migrate back south to the waters of Antarctica or come and join us on one of our Dolphin and Marine Discovery cruises starting in November.
