Another stunning day weather wise on the water today! Sunny weather with light wind perfect conditions for whale watching! We had a few whales cruising along the coast about 7 miles offshore. Spotted a few single whales, then had those meet up. These 3 had long down times and then one left so we were left to spend time with the others. These two humpbacks hung around the boat, chasing each other and giving us close encounters.
The afternoon was still beautiful conditions and we had a wonderful encounter with a mother and calf for 25 minutes. An up close and personal encounter with these two was topped off some spy hops! Looking face to face with the two giants! The whales swum upside down showing off their bright white bellies!
