Wednesday 28 September – Whale One report
Wayne our humpday skipper came across a mother & calf only 1.5 nautical miles off shore this morning. This pod were conserving energy whilst slowly swimming south. The next pod were found breaching further out. A mother & calf putting on an active performance with a few fluke up dives. 2 adults then joined in with more close encounters swimming across the bow. more were out in the distance and a fabulous image Mount Beerwah taken by our on board crew with a breaching whale on a perfect sea with no swell. Amazing whales and breathtaking scenery what more could we ask for.
