This morning we had single adult 10 nautical miles off Mooloolaba! We saw breaches and peduncle throws! He went quiet with long down times,taking advantage of the calm conditions and saving some energy. After spending 40 minutes with this humpback whale and headed back to shore.
This afternoon we had a mother and calf who were breaching and doing some head slaps. The calf was copying his mum! We had multiple close encounters with bot swimming under the boat and around us. We spent one hour with these two! What a great way to end the day!
