Today we saw 6 pods in total. Only 6 miles off the coast we saw a very young mother humpback whale with her day old-newborn calf. These two were quiet and the mother was tentative to show us her baby. They were cruising along, enjoying the perfect conditions out of the water today. Not only did we have warm sunshine but we had glass out conditions. The water was extremely clear so much so that we went past the HMAS Brisbane and could see wrecks funnels. There were large schools of fish around the wreck We saw some other marine life today as well including a jelly fish and a Hammerhead shark.
