Whale Watching Cruises

A Whale Watching Cruise can change your whole perspective on life – it can touch the deepest of emotions – overwhelm you with love and affection – have you feel all warm and fuzzy – and this is all at the sight of one of the most magnificent mammals on this plant – The Humpback Whale.

Humpback Whales can sense your nearness and hear the screams of joy as they approach the boat – you are about to have a ‘Whale Encounter’ and you’re going to love it !!

Come aboard “Whale One” Mooloolaba for an adventure of a lifetime, as we search for these magnificent whales on their northern migration to breed and mate off the Queensland Coast during June, July and August. Get ready for the best views and live whale entertainment you’ll ever see! From August through to early November, the humpback whales slowly head back south to Antarctica with their calves, at this time of year the cow and calves tend to hug the coastline allowing us to sometimes view them from the shore.

2012 looks to be an ever bigger year than 2011 with the population of Humpback Whales increasing by around 10% per annum. 2011 saw the largest number of calves born in 50 years! Guess what that means – more whales for us to see in 2012.
