Just out of the canal we spotted a mother & calf off Pt Cartwright.
We stayed with them for over 1 hr while they were sync swimming.
A couple of lovely fluke up dives as they were cruising along.
We then cruised out further to another pod.
1 single whale breached & some more fluke up dives.
Also some bottlenose and common dolphins swimming around today!
Seas this morning were flat & calm with a 7 knot southerly breeze.
A note for our afternoon passengers. Don’t be put off by a little rain we are still going out! Bring along your jackets and enjoy the experience! You can also stick to our upper deck which is covered or stay inside down stairs while we search.
