WOAH!
This morning we had a pod of 5. A bit of a competition pod with some pushing and shoving. Some peduncle throwing, tail slapping and fluke up dives. The group eventually split up and we followed a pod of 2. We also saw a small hammerhead shark!
This afternoon we saw 2 mother and calf pairs just off of the maroochy river.
Lots of activity from them including peduncle throws, tail & pectoral slapping and fluke up dives. Eventually they separated and went a little quiet. We followed one mother & calf pair for a while then went back to check out the other. Mum then did a huuuugee breach! We also got some more tail and pec slapping and even a double pec slap from the pair.
