What a treat..!! This morning we encountered a mother, calf and escort just 500m off Point Cartwright. The calf was only a few days old. We can tell this because it’s dorsal fin was still curved and it was extremely pale in colour. The mother kept nudging the calf towards the surface and teaching it to swim. We followed the trio north for three miles and then the calf decided to come right up to our boat for a better look at us. Cuteness overload.!
