The breeze was refreshing and cool, the sun warming and the whales were wonderful! At the one mile mark we spotted our first mother and calf, unfortunately the whale legislation states we must only watch at three miles off the coast and further, so we past them onto the next pod in sight. The next pod was a mother calf and escort, at first they seemed to be feeding and quite placid, then after 20 minutes or so the calf erupted into a series of spontaneous breaches entertaining us for the rest of the morning trip. everyone was happy and enjoyed the cruise thoroughly, another successful trip for us!
