As you can see, the conditions were glassy, warm and and perfecto for the energetic whales that we passed, or should i say passed by us. We had close whale encounters, tail slapping, head lunging, and peduncle throws. The customers were beaming with joy as a mother and two day old calf surfaced in close proximity, a magical sight, so we watched from a distance and moved on to the other pods to leave the mother and her baby to bond.
