What stunning conditions today at sea, the weather was perfect, calm seas and lovely whales, an amazing day everyone agreed. We came across a couple of pods today, both mothers and calf’s on the migration south just outside the three mile mark. The conditions made it very easy to spot the whales today, calm at sea and calm in nature the whales were all day until mother spontaneously breached twice in close proximity to the boat, all we could hear is the screams of excited passengers- drawing the whales even closer, intrigued by all the commotion. A few beautiful close encounters followed with some playful behavior, before we had to tear ourselves away and head back to Mooloolaba. What a day and what a wonderful result for our very happy guests!!!
