Two trips again today and the weather forecast still can’t get it right. Another sloppy day offshore with a confused swell made it harder to enjoy the cruise than expected.
The morning was fantastically compenstaed with some great close encounters with several pods as well as some brilliant displays of breaching and other acrobatics. Our passengers on the bow did not seem to mind being splashed by an exuberant calf at all!
The afternoon passengers got to enjoy the first sunshine for the week but the whales seemed to be unsure what was happening and were very reluctant to spend much time on the surface. It was a bit slow but proved yet again that every day and every trip is different.
