The seas were calm and wind light and cooling, the waters crystal clear , and the whales were a sight for sore eyes that’s for sure. The whales were in absolute abundance today, seven pods crossed paths with the whale one today leaving our customers very excited. Early in the day we experienced close encounter with mother and calf, the little one coming within 15 meters of the boat to take a peek. The few pods we traveled between were participating in pectoral slapping, tail slapping, feeding rituals and general milling around. Later in the day we were all shocked and thrilled when mother breached within 30 meters of the boast a few times! It was the cherry on the cake and all our guests agree!
