Today on the whale one vessel, 8 whales were spotted throughout the journey off the coast of Point Cartwright. Firstly a small juvenile whale, he entertained passengers for an hour with his antics coming close enough to the boat to see the beautiful marking of the underbelly. He was captured Breaching and rolling beneath the bow showing off for a good half hour. After the encounter with the juvenile, it was time to begin the journey back to port. On the way back to land two separate pods of whales were seen 6 nautical miles off the coast. These whales followed the boat and interacted with the joyous passengers until the vessel began to head to port again. Although it was an overcast day the interaction with the whales was brilliant.
