We cruised out today in perfect conditions. A slight 5-10 knot SW breeze was evident with under 1/2 metre swell.
The first Pod of two humpbacks we came across only 7m offshore. They were very shy. Further out we came across another pod of 2. They were surfacing every few minuites performing gracefull fluke up dives.
A sighting of Migaloo (the white whale) was confirmed at Nora Heads, Newcastle on Friday afternoon. He should be making his way up here in the next few days. If anyone has any images please email them to info@whaleone.com.au
