This morning there were quite a few whale pods spotted along the whale highway. Two humpbacks were spotted 6 miles off Point Cartwright, these whales were quite friendly and curious coming over to the boat and waving to our excited passengers (This is called a pectoral fin). They stayed around us for a short while before swimming north on their migratory path. There was also a turtle and a pod of dolphins spotted during the morning cruise. Another three whale pods were spotted further out as we returned to the harbour.
