What a great day. Although the weather forecast showed showed rough conditions, the sea was surprisingly calm with1.5-2m swells and only a 10knot southerly wind. That along with today’s beautiful sunshine made for a close to perfect day out at sea.
We saw a total of 6 whales about 13 miles east of Point Cartwright. First we saw two singles and then a further two pods of two whales. The whales today where all action. They came close to the boat and all our passengers enjoyed a spectacular show with double breaching, tail slapping, pec slapping and head launching.
