What a lovely afternoon. To satisfy the high demand and ensure no one would miss out on seeing the whales today we had two cruises, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The afternoon cruise also had fantastic weather and excellent sea conditions with a 10 knot light wind and low swells. We saw two pods of whales just 8 miles off the coast. The first pod was steadily swimming north, but the second pod started off breaching and performed impressive mating rituals. The bull was chasing the female and tried really hard to impress her. It was fascinating to watch. We also saw plenty of beautiful sea birds such as eagles and turns.
