So much whale action today! How exciting! The conditions were a bit choppy with a 10-15 knot southerly wind. We saw our first whale swimming north about 8 miles off the coast. Then we saw a whale breaching about 1 mile off the boat and another two single whales breaching just 0.5 miles away from the boat. We decided to stay with them and one whale had so much energy that it stayed breaching, tail slapping and peduncle throwing for a full hour only 100 meters from the boat. What a fantastic show!!!

Please not the weather update from the skipper: Tomorrow the conditions are looking good. Sunday is cancelled, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday strong winds are predicted and we might need to cancel the trip if the forecast does not change.
