A total of 10 whales today. All whales were spotted within 3 mile of Point Cartwright.
The start of spring saw an influx of visitors to the Coast and Whale One patrons. Our 7am early morning cruise proving very popular. Just a slight breeze started the weekend in fine form. Brilliant sunshine, plenty of action from our friendly humpbacks and lots of dolphins along the way.
Another 2 humpbacks were sighted by the 10am crew on board Whale One with more tricks displayed by another pod of whales. displaying lots of action and to cap it off a double breach by a pair of young whales.
The winds picked up in the afternoon and our late cruise guests were well rewarded with a series of tail lobbs, Pectoral fin waves and fluke up dives. Followed on by a pod of bottle-nosed dolphins. The skipper also reported a bait ball and some flying fish observed during the cruise.
