This morning we found our first whale 1.5 miles north east of Pt. Cartwright, the single showed off with a few breaches and pectoral slapping, another single whale cruised past but wasn’t up to much- just logging along. We headed north to a pod of 2 whales 1 mile north of the Brisbane, they were cruising along with graceful fluke up dives. Sea conditions were 10 knots of breeze and a 1 meter swell, a bit of an overcast day on whale one but it certainly didn’t dampen ours or the whales spirits!
