This afternoon we were glad to be out on the water after the winds kept us from getting out to whale watch this morning. There was a breeze blowing and a bit of a swell, but it didn’t spoil the whales enthusiasm. We spent most of the trip with a lovely mother and her calf. Mum was logging along with fluke up dives fairly close to the boat while the calf showed off with a couple of breaches and pectoral waves. The calves are always fun to watch and this little guy didn’t disappoint, rolling over onto its back and waving to us!
