A little choppy out on the water this morning but we didn’t have to travel far to see our first whales.
A mother and her calf (approximately 6 weeks old) were headed south. Some beautiful fluke up dives from the mum and a couple of close encounters.
We then headed further south and spotted 2 adult humpbacks breaching in the distance. By the time we got to them though there was no more breaching but we did get some wonderful pec slapping in close and fluke up dives.
On the way back in a pod of dolphins played alongside as we cruised on.
