7 miles offshore we encountered a pod of 2 humpbacks who were happy to hang out with us all morning. We had lots of activity from them including peduncle throws, tail slapping, fluke up dives, a full breach and close encounters with the boat.
A single whale also came over to check out the boat but decided it wasn’t interested, turned around and swam off as quickly as it appeared.
