Look how calm those seas are!
What lucky, lucky passengers on the morning whale watching cruise!
We headed straight out to the Brisbane wreck this morning and came across 2 male humpbacks. They swam behind the boat for a while before we spotted 3 more whales (a mother, calf and escort). From them we had a full breach, peduncle throwing and tail slapping before the first 2 whales came over and started a competition with the escort. 3 bulls fighting is an incredible thing to see and this lasted for around an hour.
We also saw some green turtles (they must have been sea sick they were so green!) and a pod of 12 humpback dolphins joined us at the end of our trip.
