The morning sightings were amazing, 10 miles of a pod of 4 and 2 more joined in on the action – fluke up dives,close encounters & some huge peduncle throws.. The 12 knot Southerly breeze kept things a little chilly but everyone was enthralled by not only performing whales but dolphins, turtles and even batfish.
The afternoon sightings were even more spectacular with breaching just 20 metres from the boat. Very friendly whales were swimming around,under behind and in front of us most of the cruise. Just 6 miles off Point Cartwright. With muggings, close up and some awestruck passengers.
