AM: Beautiful calm sunny conditions bought all the sea-life out to play this morning, with a pod of dolphins, a green turtle and a number of pods of whales. The skipper chose to follow a mother and calf and was rewarded with lovely fluke up dives and close encounters.
PM: We had a whale of a day yesterday afternoon on board Whale One!
We had absolutely beautiful, calm and sunny conditions, perfect for whale watching.
We saw lots of different pods of whales and had a pod of two adult whales mugging the boat for an hour, with lots of amazing close encounters, spy hopping, fluke up dives and tail slaps.Our passengers had a good laugh when they got covered in whale breath and on the way home we had a pod of 2 dozen dolphins bow ride the boat.
