The trip this morning saw 2 Humpback Whales on top of the HMAS Brisbane, heading south. The whales showed off displaying some fluke up dives and even a double fluke up dive. The water was so clear our guests could see the wreck and also a few friendly dolphins who were keeping the whales company! Another day of beautiful conditions out on the water!
Then in the afternoon we saw a Pod of 4 Whales 4 nautical miles out, who showed off some fluke up dives and some great close encounters. 1 single whale was seen later and displaying some head lunges! A pod of 3 whales displayed some perduncle throws, pec slaps and some more close encounters. Then we saw another 2 whales, 12 in total,and even saw a sea snake! Beautiful calm warm conditions today!
