Whale Watching Report Wednesday 5th October

What a fabulous day out on the water today with multiple mother and calves! “Whales galore” said our skipper Wayne! We found a mother, calf and escort humpback whale that wanted a close encounter with us! Only 2 mile off Point Cartwright, the calf was practicing his breaching and we also got some breaches from the escort! All 3 whales displayed some fluke up dives, pec slaps and tail slaps.The beautiful weather conditions complemented the great encounters we had with these gentle giants!

There were plenty of whale out and about this afternoon! Many whales in the distance and our guests got a close encounter with a mother and her calf, as well as an escort humpback.

The calf was playful with us as it did some breaches. The 3 whales gave us some close encounters!

Many whales were travelling so we left them to do so. These whales were taking full advantage of the beautiful weather conditions considering their long migration back to Antarctica!
