Lance our skipper on board Whale One this morning reported a pod of 3 whales just East of Point Cartwright this morning. The were swimming slowly along with some great viewings. A single whale giving some lovely fluke up dives and a few huge horizontal breaches as we turned to move to another pod.
The seas were a little choppy in the afternoon with 2 pods. The windy conditions often bring out the breaches with was evident this afternoon. There were a few more out in the distance.
