Point Cartwright was the place to be this morning. Our guests were delighted by a mother and her calf playing with a bottlenose dolphin. The calf rolled over a few times on the surface showing off his belly. The dolphin tried to encourage the calf by demonstrating his jumping skills and we were rewarded with a full breach from the baby whale. The mother displayed her unique tail print with a perfect fluke up dive. A second mother and calf were breaching and playing a mile south of Point Cartwright. On our return trip we were lucky enough to be surrounded by a pod of 15 common long beak dolphins jumping and frolicking in the calm water.
