Great weather conditions on the sunshine coast today, perfect for whale watching! Today we saw a pod of 4 whales who came in for close up encounters! They swam around our boat and displayed plenty of surface behaviours such a tail slaps, pec slaps and even breaching! One Whale even displayed a corkscrew breach, where his head landed back into the water! What a 10/10 morning!
Afternoon Cruise
The cruise this afternoon was full of marine life not just fabulous whales! We had a manta ray as well as 2 pods of dolphins out and about!
We saw some pods close to shore however they weren’t very active so we headed out to find some playful whales! We found some indeed, came across a sub-adult with 2 very large adult escorts! These 3 showed off their white undersides and rolled around before doing multiple breaches!
