This morning we had a pod of 3 Adults and had an hour-long encounter with them! They showed off with some fluke up dives, 4 breaches and some peduncle throws! There were 2 other pods around us 2 nautical miles within the boat and a total of 10 whales spotted today! Sea conditions were sunny and favourable indeed.
This afternoons trip saw even better sea conditions than the morning trip! First up we had a single adult doing multiple beaches and head lunges. Our boat had 3 other pods a mile within our boat. We moved onto a pod of 3 adult humpbacks who were on the surface, after having a quick look at them we headed back into shore to end the days trips.
