Whale watching all day today! We kicked off this sunny day by heading out 8 nautical miles from the Mooloolaba coastline. Spotted two whales that were quite elusive at times, diving down for around 5 minutes at a time.
These two seemed to be two juveniles, and what we took an educational guess to be two males traveling to mate in the warmer northern waters.

In the afternoon, we saw another two whales only 3 miles offshore, they came very close to us and to our surprise and excitement swam directly under the boat! We saw his white belly showing up as a gorgeous turquoise colour mixed with the colour of the sea. So beautiful!
