The wet weather did not dampen our day out at sea. With patches of wind at 5 -10 knots and over a metre swell we spotted 5 whales in total. Whale One followed a single juvenile whale who did a half breach and a peduncle dive with some close encounters with the boat. He had short down times. While two whales were off to the right of the vessel and crossed the bow of the boat, with another two seen on our way home into the bay.
