Today the Whale One cruise traveled about 10 miles off the coast of Mooloolaba. Sea conditions were very good with a 5 knot breeze. The whales put on a show with a Mother and a 1 to 2 day old calf being first sighted. They had an escort with them. We kept our distance but a display of peduncles and tail up dives were seen. Leaving them to cruise the seas, we continued and found two more adult whales which swam under the boat, breached and then blasted everyone who were situated on the front of the boat. We had a happy bunch of passengers on our return journey.
