The sun has come out again for us today, with perfect sea conditions, about a half metre swell and no wind. Whale One traveled out nine miles east of Point Cartwright and found one single whale who performed some fluke up dives. We stayed observing for about 25 minutes and then went off whale spotting again. Our next encounter was with a pod of five lazy adult whales. They were cruising along side the vessel doing spy hops, and pec slaps. Two whales did some fluke up dives and then continued on their way – north bound!
