Our first sighting this morning was a single southbound whale with five minute down times. We then came across a mother, calf and their escort who were heading northbound. The single whale joined up with this pod of three and all three had a great time showing off with fluke up dives, head surges, tail slapping and peduncle throws. We also experienced close encounters with the whales within 30 meters of the boat, another beautiful morning out on Whale One!
