Sadly we have had to cancel todays and tomorrows trips due to high seas and strong winds.
Yesterday the sea conditions were quite rough. There was a lot of chop on the water with 15 knot southerly winds. We found our whales early at one mile North-East of Point Cartwright; a mother and her calf, about 6 weeks old. We got to spend about an hour and a half watching them perform breaches, peduncle throws, fluke updives as well as swimming around the boat. We also saw two other whales breaching south of us.
