The season may have only a couple of weeks left but the whales don’t seem to think it’s time to go home just yet!

This  morning the 7am trip found a mother, calf and escort about 8 miles off Mt. Coolum, we were treated to close encounters with the three and graceful fluke up dives. The 10.30am cruise also saw a mother and calf who displayed fluke up dives, a couple of half breaches and close encounters, they were about 3-3.5 miles offshore. Sea conditions were reasonable this morning with a 10 knot south-easterly breeze blowing.
