Seas were flat with a light breeze about this afternoon. We encountered a pod of 2 whales swimming slowly with a few fluke up dives. We then spotted some whales breaching further out so decided to head a bit closer to them. They proved to be a little shy in showing off their acrobatics but came in nice and close to the boat a couple of times.
Tomorrow our boat is nice and full and seas conditions are expected to be great. We can’t wait!
