A bit of wind chop and swell about this morning.
We spotted a juvenile humpback and got to spend about an hour with him. He was coming up to the surface every 2 – 3 minutes before a fluke up dive and back down again. It’s always impressive when they lift their whole tail out of the water to dive.
After a while he gave us a peduncle throw, a big dive and he disappeared.
On our way back in, a group of inshore bottlenose dolphins came up to play along side the boat. The group also had a few calves in it. So very cute.
Our passengers always love getting some extra viewing from our other marine friends!
