Thursday June 9th – Brilliant blue skies and calm seas made it easy for us to find whales 9 miles out this morning. 1/2 meter of swell and not a cloud in the sky with a mild 10 knot breeze makes for perfect whale watching weather, and these magnificent creatures are not disappointing us with some great breaching. Perfect weather for the next few days ahead, so jump on board!
We also wanted to let you know that Whale One is very excited to be moving to a fabulous new office down at the Mooloolaba Wharf. Opening Day will coincide with the Community Event “Sea & Sound Festival” this Saturday June 11th in the carpark of the wharf complex with local seafood, craft beer and live music including Ash Grunwald & Pete Murray.
