Beautiful weather and calm seas this morning made it easy for the Skipper to spot our first pod of whales only 2.5 nautical miles out. It was a competition pod with the male whales doing their best to attract attention fighting over a female with perduncle throws, pec slapping, tail slapping, with a bit of push & shove thrown in and lots of close encounters.
