This morning we found a single juvenile whale 2 nautical miles from Pt Cartwright that played around our boat, pec slapping, fluke up dives and peduncle throws.
We stayed with this whale for about 40 minutes before coming across a mother and calf that were playing, head lunging and rolling around. The mum brought the calf across to the boat before continuing on their journey.
