It was a lovely morning on the water with a mother and her calf giving us a spectacular display 20 minutes into our journey. We spotted three pods in total, each had a parent and their calf. The whales were very playful with young whales practicing their breaching next to the boat and giving us some wonderful close encounters.
The whales put on a spectacular show for us this afternoon, with numerous displays of tail slapping, breaching and spy hopping from four different pods. At one point we had ten whales surrounding the Whale One! We also got the chance to get up close and personal with two inquisitive whales who mugged the boat.
